Birth Document, usually known as birth certificate needs to be attested for the use of it in countries like UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi, USA etc. Attestation can be done from the country which issued the certificate. In birth certificate attestation, the first step is Notary attestation. There are two types of notary attestation. They are district notary and state attestation of birth certificates. After getting state notary attestation then apply for respective home department attestation. Then apply for Ministry of External Affairs(MEA), that should attest all the documents issued by any state in India before submitting to the concerned Embassy. After MEA attestation, apply for the respective embassies where the candidate is travelling to.
